Did you have a great weekend? A number of staff and members did as we headed out to the NZ Fitness Expo. What a fanastic event this proved to be with lots of new products to taste and experience. Make sure that you don’t miss out next year!
We are launching a new feature on our blog today where we profile the staff members of Fitness Plus. Beginning with one of the longer term trainers Mike Harrison, we will eventually profile all of the staff giving you the a chance to find out a bit more about the friendly faces that you see behind the counter whenever you visit.
Here is Mike in his own words…….
My name is Mike Harrison. I work as a fitness instructor, personal trainer and group fitness instructor. I have participated in many sporting codes such as rugby league, touch, tag, squash, athletics etc with representative honours in most.
I know what it takes to achieve goals mentally, physically as well as through my own past experiences in training myself and training others.
I have been in the gym environment for 15 years and have a Bachelor of Sport to back up my training systems. I cater to anyone with goals, but it all starts with you. I can only guide you in the direction you want to go in.
Remember - Dream it, Believe it, Achieve it. Whether it be weight loss, muscle mass or sports specific porgrammes for functionality, I can do with your can do attitude.
As well as being a great fitness instructor and personal trainer, Mike is also a group exercise instructor who runs a very popular Power class featuring a mixture of weights and cardio.
